Biography

Michiel Meewis is a photographer who was born and raised in Weert in the South of the Netherlands.

In 2009 Michiel obtained his Masters in Fashion Photography at the London College of Fashion, University of the Arts.
In that same year he was awarded the first place in the category ‘fashion’ by the International Photography Awards Competition.

In 2004 he obtained his BFT (Bachelor Film and Television) at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy. His exam film ‘About Roses’ was nominated for a Student Oscar® by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the category of ‘Best Foreign Film’.

Michiel is currently living and working in London as a photographer.
